Located at Akamai’s corporate headquarters in Cambridge, MA, a refreshed billboard design announcing Akamai’s Life Online campaign, a global marketing initiative telling the story of what Akamai makes possible for its customers. Using the aspirational image of a sunrise over planet earth, a kind of “Morning in America” reference, the design hints at the marketing team’s shift from promoting technology, metrics, and stats to a more consumer facing, customer first approach.

As with any high visibility project, many versions were created to ensure the best design was used. As more offices were opening up and the pandemic receding, the creative team prioritized updating any branding or environmental signage in or around the headquarters.
