Brand Identity Proposal
Oceanwide Center LLC, San Francisco, CA – 2017
Brand identity concept for a massive, mixed-use skyscraper complex planned for the Transbay area of San Francisco, CA. This controversial and unrealized project seamlessly blended urban, environmental, public, and private spaces together, combined with easy access to the Transbay Transit Center. Using celebrity icons as a metaphor for the project’s potential, the design plays with contrasting ideas of confidence and accessibility, density and openness, and independence and community. The brand look and feel is inspired by iconographic features of the building, paired with bold color and a geometric typeface reflecting the heroic scale of the project.
